Saturday - 20 July 2013 Chef d' Table

 Very happy to see the nice cake from the restaurant!

Is July babies birthday celebration so we are back to Chef D Table for dinner it was a great experience that we all had during Pauline's birthday last December! 

Last year Goh came with me ... today is Alyssa's turn am afraid she don't have anything to eat I bought her sandwich and some snack so that she can have it and I guess she will be bored cos she will be the only kid there! 

I ordered back the same 4 course meal and I am having the same thing as well .... Lobster Bisque, Mushroom Tofu, Seabass and dessert same goes to Pauline but she choose beef instead.  As for Sam she choose ala carte - seabass and as for her entree she opt for Foie Gras.  Jamie ordered Pink Dory and it comes with lemon sauce which gave a very refreshing feel.  Jamie gave some to Alyssa and she like so much that she asked me to order one for her as well and she really a big eater!  She finished it in no time when it was served to her! 

We all waited for the dessert cos the chocolate lava cake was the highlight and we simply fall in love with this dessert! Check out the video on Pauline's blog !

Alyssa really enjoyed the dinner very much and love the lava cake for sure and she tell me she would wanna go back again!  Do check out the place ..... is a great place for couple as well!

After talking to TT and letting her know that HER gfs won't be going to tonight's dinner she decided to stay at home with Rhoda (maid).  Fiona came to Bedok to meet us and off we go to Chijmes.  Tonight's dinner is at Chef d' Table is fine dining kind hahaha .... actually I dun really like it cos the whole course will be slow ..... 

We were shown to a private room and is kinda quiet on a Saturday night.  Looking through the Menu on line I wanna go for their Aglio Olio .... but seeing their set dinner ... I opt for it so is Dearie, Sam and Pauline.   We were given a choice of choosing Mushroom Toufu or Signature cold pasta with grill prawn ...... I am the only one choosing the toufu so I can taste 2 different thing.  The toufu really nice it was crispy on the outside and soft inside .... it seems melted in the mouth yummy!

In between from appetitzer to main course took quite along time luckily we were served with bread and olive dip .... simply love that as I am a bread person!  Fiona order the Foie gras it smell really good so we order 2 more to share.

Dearie's main was pork, Pauline have beef, Sam and I have Sea Bass ....... Geok Ping ordered ala carte Sea Bass too and Fiona ordered Duck Fillet. 

Lastly we were served dessert platter which consists of Chocolate Fondant with Vanilla Ice Cream, Tiramisu, Orange Cream Brulee and Lychee Pannacotta.  Fiona dessert was Coconut Pudding is yummy too!  And according to the Ops Manager - Sally she told us that dessert was actually prepared by Chef with his mood!  I am not a chocolate fan but their Chocolate Fondant is a must eat dish ...... the chocolate that flow out really makes us so excited LOL  Birthday girl was given a complimentary Chocolate Fondant with Vanilla Ice Cream!  Thumbs up for the service here!
