Went Chikusen for lunch today ..... cos our Treasuere is buying us ... total 6 of us! We each order a set and some sides to go along.
Ms Kim and Mr Choi, our 2 Korean coach ordered each a Tenzaru Soba Set ($18 each), Yongyi (part time gal) ordered a chicken Teppan Set ($15), Rosalind decided to try their saba shio set ($15), Noi wanted cod fish so she have Gindara Teriyaki Set ($18) as I am still coughing I opt for their Salmon Teppan Set ($15).
We order some sides to go with it ..... we saw this Pitan Tofu ($4) on the menu, photo seems good so we decided to have 2 to share but photo always on menu always deceiving is just small miserable piece so we just try one mouth each not too bad .. in fact so easy to make ourselves!
Rosalind also ordered mix sushi ($30), beef foie gras ($30) and I ordered salmon skin ($8) with 5 Ocha ($1 each). All the sets come with one miso soup and one chawanmushi quite full after eating the set and I didn't finish the rice. My salmon was grill just nice .... still very juicy not too dry cos some will be over cook and will be dry.
Rosalind commented that the beef was nice too ..... the foie gras with beef combination just nice! each set comes with a small little dessert - Cold tofu pudding this was good really refreshing! Total bill for the lunch after adding the GST and service charge was $225.98. We were all back to the office with big tummy but the rest still go for ice cream for dessert as for me I have to skip it due to my cough!

Thanks to my bosses and Rosalind for buying me lunch and also the lovely ice cream cake from Ice Cream Gallery and is one of my favourite - Sea Salt caramel! Yum!
Rosalind gave me a treat at Chikusen Japanese Restaurant surprise they still have opening set lunch available still opt for terriyaki chicken but portion of the chicken have shrink as compare when we first dine there. Rosalind said that the beef was good .... Boss Ming had their cod fish and she love it too! We were served dessert too after the meal ... not too bad.... service was good too!
After our lunch Boss surprise me with a Sea Salt Caramel Icecream Cake from Ice Cream Gallery it was really yummy! Had a great time with all thanks for the treat, AB and cake! Really appreciate it!

On Monday when TT was back home and I am busy doing some housework ... she show me a picture .... saying that's me! hahaha she say she never see me having curly hair before so there in her imagination tat's how I look like LOL
On Tuesday, Jolene was on leave so Rosalind suggested to go over to the new Japanese Restaurant - Chikusen (use to be Minori now they took over) to try their set meal. And they promoting their opening special set lunch I choose to try their Teppan Chicken Set ($15++) while Rosalind opt for Gindara (cod Fish) Teriyaki Set (18++) it comes with salad, Chawanmushi, one miso soup and one rice with one dessert.
Salad was first to be served .... the renovation remained a bit the same like Minori one thing unchange is .... it is still very warm ... aircon not strong enough!
Teriyaki Chicken was quite a big plate .... tender chicken makes it so yummy .... cod fish was grill nicely too ... and so sweet! Thumbs up! Will be back for more for sure .... hope that they will have ala carte buffet soon!
