Thursday 

Yearly affair for us to go over small aunt shop for praying as she always will pray outside her shop for the seventh month this year just nice that the first Sunday this year we are attending Ryder's 1st birthday so she will do her offering today instead and just nice is a PH so we all can make it to help

Friday 

Is National day today!  We woke up and took MRT to Tampines for breakfast and at the same time bought some food over to Ah Ghor's place.  Is also a yearly affair that we will gather and she will cook for all of us! 

My dear Alyssa so happy till left her MRT card on the train and she was so moody and super low mood best thing is I dunno how much $ was inside and how many cards inside too as she will keep her own thing!  SIGH gotta spend money again for replacing her cards!

We headed to Mr You Tiao at Century Square for brunch 3 of us love the Porridge there but Goh will always go for their breakfast set!  Each Porridge set come with a drink and generous shredded chicken can be found!  Yummy!  And their breakfast set was served with youtiao instead of normal bread.  After that we went over to Tampines One Barcook Bakery I love their cream cheese raisin bun and I notice they have this 流沙包 so I bought 1 to try it had buttery smell with salted egg yolk and custard cream it really have the ooze out feel but I prefer the other texture which is the original bao texture than the bread which is quite soft.  And really have to eat it while it is still hot cos when it cool down is not really that nice.

Reached Ah Ghor's place in the evening and she have already prepared everything and each of us was offered one black chicken soup!  Really very PU haha I seldom eat all  these I guess I should need so that I can prepare my body well I guess if I want to get preggie again I need to build up my body! 

Re-visit to Teow Chew Meng

I am back in Teow Chew Meng again for lunch and this time round we ordered ala carte instead of the meal. 

Beside the Mee Sua Tow we also ordered their seafood porridge and fried rice.  Mee Sua Tow was yummy but somehow I feel too little mee sua with lotsa ingredients till really can't get to taste the mee sua.  Seafood porridge, ingredients was fresh oh well I dun really fancy this dish. Fried Rice I feel was quite normal nothing to rave about but one of my working neighbour told me it was very good. 

Apple Beancurd salad was better than their Mango salad the sauce was very appetising and the sour apple really refreshing!  Just feel that nothing much here so every re-visit will have to order the dishes which is the same.  Total cost for the whole lunch - $103.50

Au Chocolat

Is my first time here in Au Chocolat cos my evil sister Pauline was raving about it so we decided to have dinner together here on the eve of PH.  Met up with Angeline first for caffeine injection at Beanstro before we strolled over to Au Chocolat to meet the rest.

Sam and myself ordered a Califonia Smoked Salmon Sandwich ($20) love the avocado that goes well with the sandwich and salmon!  Sam ordered Banana Boost ($12) for the drink of the night.   And as for drink Angeline and I both ordered Taiwan Lychee Beer ($12) so refreshing and the smell of lychee was so nice! Simply love it!

Wendy choose to have Pacific Crab Cake ($32) and the presentation of the food was so pretty and I taxed some from her is really nice the crab meat was thick is worth ordering it!  And as for the other 3 ladies they opted for Boeuf Bourguignon ($26) this consists of carrot, mushroom, beef and it was served with mashed potato and bread.  The bread looks yummy to me!

And of cos as usual we will ordered side dishes to share!  Pauline recommend this sweet potato fries ($12) this was yummy crispy enough and of cos sweet too!  Mushroom bites ($14) was served with some bread as well.  We are there for their waffles and is 50% off of the 2nd waffles but unfortunately we can only have the waffles only at Au Chocolat Confiserie so we gotta choose other dessert but that puzzle all of us as other dessert can be ordered and serve at the Bistro but not the waffles! 

Sames goes to their soft toy as we entitled one free plush dog (OO) as we have spent around 300+ ($200 will get one plushie) so we can get another one at $10 but they left only display one on the shelves!  So we asked if we could get from the the retail side but they say cannot.  Kinda weird but their service was very good friendly and cheerful waitress!  Love dining here so I will definately come back for more!

Tuesday - 6 August 2013

Again we cook in the office today ... love doing that cos we are really tired of chicken rice, fishball noodle almost every day!  I cooked fried rice, sotong ball and the century egg tofu so easy to whip up a meal but of cos time consume and 3 of us just take turn to help either in our mini kitchen if not will be on our desk answering calls!  So nice that can cook in office and sometimes there will be left over it will be my dinner too haha dave a meal! 

In the evening Goh and I went over to the newly open Sarpino Pizza at our place and bought a piece to try is at $4 for a slice .... I think their pizza is better than pizza hut the crust is quite soft and BBQ sauce is nice too generous chicken chunks can be found buried under neath the cheese!

Sunday & Monday - 4 & 5 Aug 2013

Sunday 

A lazy sunday and I wanna take a nap but silly girl didn't want it so we have to make her busy on cartoon for her to watch .. but end up she also kept talking to me and end up I didn't take any nap :( 

Monday 

Sometime people will think is easy for 2 or 3 pax to look for food but when it comes to meal time is a real headache!  I really dunno what to eat so end up buying zi char from the coffeeshop.  He Xuan Seafood located at Blk 2A this zi char still not too bad so far their food was quite nice.  Fried rice is a tad oily but the wok smell is there and is quite yummy not too salty.  Horfun is good the gravy not too salty and not too starchy, the seafood added is fresh and veggie is also crunchy.

Gurney Drive @ T3 Saturday - 3 Aug 2013

Craving for Penang food so we headed to Gurney Drive @ T3 for dinner and since the Changi Millionaire 2013 is still on going dining or shop here won a chance for us to the lucky draw! Why not just try our luck haha ....

As usual Alyssa go for the kid's meal which come with free yakult and thats her favourite, kids meal - sweet & sour fish with nugget and rice ($5.90).  baby finished everything I guess it should be good and no complain from her.

Goh ordered Penang fried kway tiao ($7.50) and I go for Penang Hokkien Prawn Mee ($6.50) and we ordered a side dish belacan chicken wings ($4.90) to share and this dish is child friendly so Alyssa can enjoy eating with us!

I miss the ampla juice from Penang so I order that to ease my craving ($3.20 small) and I am surprise that Goh ordered calamansi juice ($2.90 small) cos he will always complain sour!  Good enough he finished everything except me cos the ampla juice cannot compare the one I had in Penang!

Overall we feel that the standard did drop .... I hope the standard will be good again for my next visit!

Thursday & Friday - 1 - 2 Aug 2013

Nothing to update for my Thur and Fri  just that I am crazy over this show waited for 10 years for them to start number 2 of it.  

I fell in love with Samuel Tong (Francis Ng) in 2003 Triumph in The Skies!  This time round his formal wife Zoe (Myolie) this story line will be write off as she passed away.  And Myolie will be still acting for this series as an aircraft technician.  She is Jayden's (Julian Cheung) sister - Summer!  

Don't really like Summer and Jayden's character in this story ..... but somehow I feel that Coco Ling (Nancy Wu) and Jim Jim (Him Law) paired up is kinda nice!  Holiday (Fala Chen) was made to paired up with Jayden initially and later Samuel .....triangle love was somehow a bit messy.  Check out the series you have not watch ... no regrets watching it and I really miss Samuel Tong ... hope that it won't ended so fast and will there be Triumph in Skies 2 in near years?
