Thanks to my cousin's invites to MBS!  We have not been up to their sky park before!

Sis came to bring us up to their room and Faith (my niece) told me that this room is consider small already compared to the few times when they are there.  And Faith say MBS is their 2nd home haha .... so nice to have a weekend stay everytime!

We went to their infinity pool to swim .....  Alyssa so happy and she swim happily together with her cousins the view really spectacular!  So relax swimming inside and their jacuzzi always full which we didn't give a try. 

We enjoyed ourselves very much and after washing up we headed to Satay by the bay for dinner ...... and headed back only at around 11+pm and I met up my Penpal for awhile as he is working in MBS!  He is my penpal for more than 20+ years!  Friendship still strong! 

Thursday & Friday - 15 & 16 Aug 2013

Thursday 

Nothing to update ... 

Cook soya chicken in the afternoon at work place and ta da it become my dinner for today cos Goh will be fetching Alyssa back home and will settle his dinner there at my in law's place.  

And I went online to check a good timing for catching Smurf 2 cos the following next 2 weekend  I will have to work and will not be able to watch. 

Just nice that they have a good timing at Leisure Park Flimgarde so we just headed there and had a great time spent there!  Just feel that Smurf 1 is better than 2 :) 

Family Dinner at Gim Tim AMK 14 Aug 2013

Small Uncle and Aunt buying us dinner and they have also booked the tables at Gim Tim total 4 tables for the Goh & Tan family! Is great to have gathering cos everyone was busy and is a good time to have dinner together and catching up.

Gim Tim a very chinese style restaurant with friendly waitress around serving us which makes us all comfortable. In Conjunction with National Day the restaurant having a promotion - 48% off for this menu which consists of

• Crispy Peking Duck - Not very crispy but it was good I still prefer to wrap it on my own. And the Peking Duck meat was stir-fried and serve with lettuce and we can wrapped and eat with it and is really good but it was really filling!

• Braised Sharks Fin Soup with Shredded Dried Seafood - quite starchy and generous of sharks fin was added in

• Deep Fried Soon Hock Fish with Mango - this is something different more like a Thai style as the mango goes very well with the bland fish

• Mini Abalone stuffed in Japanese Pocket Tofu - more like Inari sushi but this is not stuff with Japanese rice but with mini abalone. Taste nice with that combination and the gravy goes well with the boiled broccoli!

• Tofu is an additional for the kids very thoughtful of small aunt! Cos the fish was consider spicy for the kids... steal a bite from my girl, the tofu was really silky and soft ..... melt in the mouth!

• Wok Fried Lobster with Rice Vermicelli - by this dish I am already quite full but this was really good the vermicelli absorb all the sweetness of the gravy so when you chew it the sweetness just burst into the mouth! Lobster was fresh too!

• Fried Chilli Crab with Singapore style - meat was thick and fresh and the gravy was good too thick and tad spicy goes well with a deep fried bun!

• Chilled Cheng Tng with Lotus Seed - this was extremely sweet .... I didn't finished this just one mouth and I gave up!

Overall dining experience was good, the elderly group enjoyed the session over the dinner so is our generation! And the dinner package was a good catch!  Thanks Small Uncle and Aunt for the lovely dinner!

Four Season Durian

Alyssa and myself took a bus over to AMK hub to meet up with Goh..... since we are still early for the dinner we went to join the queue which is forming up for the Four Seasons Durian Pancake.  And at the same time we are offered to sample their durian icecream. 

Cannot resist the temptation we bought one cup of icecream, 1 durian pancake and a box of durian puff.  We finished the ice cream and share the pancake the combination is good pancake is hot and durian puree is cold yum yum.  As for the puff I feel that it is a bot dry on the puff  but generous durian puree which was pump in is good as well!  

All these can be stored in freezer for 3 days!  Good buy and really yummy!

Thanks Bahrin for the lovely cookies from your Granny and Cousin .... it was very good our Monday filled up with these cookies to drive away our Monday blues!  

Tuesday 

Nothing much on my Tuesday as usual Yoga lesson in the evening by Yvonne .... good to sweat it out from here ..... but I think I gotta get back again for my brisk walk and light jogging in the evening soon cos I am getting fatter!

Wednesday 

Took leave to help my MIL for praying for the seventh month for her shop, last year I was not there due to registration of tournament. Thanks to Small Aunt whom came over to help too!  Lucky I am able to help out this year ..... help to whipped up some dishes, washing and cutting of the ingredients and also help to pack all the stuffs my MIL bought to put into basket. 

Hope that she will be able to listen to us again for ordering of catering instead of cooking is very tedious in preparing cos firstly age is catching up and if no one help in future will be very tiring.  She was still very traditional as she wanna prepare everything from stretch.  I love her yam cake I still haven't get to master that from her shall learn form her next time! 

Everything was done inclusive of praying till around 3+pm and she drove Alyssa and myself back home for a short rest cos we will be going to AMK Gim Tim for Family Dinner sponsor by Small Uncle and Auntie.

Sunday - 11 Aug 2013

Baby Ryder turned 1!  Chloe & David invited us to Ryder's 1st birthday bash at With a Pinch of Salt located just opposite my office at Tanjong Katong.  

We reached at around 3pm sharp and the place was decorated with blue and white balloon and buffet table was set up already. And handsome Ryder was ready to meet all the relative and friends!  

Chit chatting among the rest of us before others arrival and at around 3+pm buffet start and the food was quite good I love the fried chicken, overall food was good, service was ok too.  

Birthday cake was from Pine Garden the cake was so soft and flavourable love it very much nice party we had and we enjoy ourselves very much thanks Chloe and David for the invites!

Saturday 10 August 2013 MIL's birthday

Is MIL's birthday so I booked the table for 10 at Uncle Dennis's Irodori Japanese Restaurant  cos my in laws love the food there!

As usual we love the sashimi there and we can easily ordered 3-4 plates of it as in big plates and I of cos won't missed out their grilled mid joint wings.  

The dinner ended with a yummy yogurt cake from -18°C and guess what this design of the cake name is FIONA! One of my evil sistas name!  Cool! 

Parted our ways and back home ...... another round of meet up again with my relatives tomorrow ..... busy week for us but I am loving it!
