One of the Coach will always came with nice yummy food for us .... tell me how to go on diet? Haha this time he bought some pies from Pies & Coffee.
I usually will love savoury more than sweet stuffs .... but this one still not too bad .... top one is Banana Tart ($7.80+), right bottom is Peacan Pie ($6.95+) and left bottom is Chocolate Almond Pie ($8.95+)
So far I prefer the banana tart ... chocolate one is too rich for me ..... as for peacan I don't really like it too much nuts ..... I shall try their savoury next time when I visit their place which is near to my office!

May 8 was my lady boss birthday but due to tournament overseas she was not in town so since she is back and is Auntie Rosalind Birthday on 29 May plus our Korean Coach birthday falls in May too we have a May birthday babies party at work.
I bought a cake for them and we celebrated together .... hope they enjoy it! cake really overdose .... The coach brought 3 different flavour of cake up again hahahaha FAT FAT ME!
Went over to Giant and get some stuffs and i am cooking tonight ..... as usual YTF soup, cabbage (I cooked extra portion so can bring over to work tomorrow), sambal fishcake and onion egg ..... whipped up the dinner in about 30mins! Hope I have more energy to cook next time .... cos not easy to cook for 2 pax only!
Week by week passes so fast is Alyssa Day again! Haha MIL told me that Alyssa always counting down to Wednesday so that she can see us!
At times I really miss this chirping bird misses her talking non stop to me hahaha and I simply love cam whoring with her! And today MIL cook all our favourite hokkien mee .... have tried cooking that myself during last day of CNY and is a success hahaha didn't know I can cook that and is a thumbs up from my in laws!
***Update - Forgot to update this ... feel so blessed when I got back to the office from Bank and found 2 packet of chinese medicine on my table a coach went to get it for me after hearing I still coughing non stop! So nice of him! Thank you Mr Terence Tan!
Near my office there is nothing much of choices to have lunch so we headed back to 真粥道 for lunch. Each of us order a main porridge my 3 other colleagues ordered their traditional porridge which include minced pork, sliced pork and also pork liver.
As for me cos i don't take pork so I always go either chicken or fish ..... but today I choose fish and prawn. Grace (Moses Lim's daughter) very nice and friendly lady, have great memory not only she remembered my name she also remembered what I like to eat!
Beside that we ordered some side dishes to share we ordered Peanuts and their platter which consists of tau pok, tau kwa, braised pork belly and braised eggs! As for drinks last time they only have can drinks, mineral water now they have home cooked barley too!
And Grace told us that they will have zi char soon and that will be in the evening time ... they will start to try out see how is the respond. I will be coming back to try it soon! Hope is as good as their yummy porridge!
Is always easy without Alyssa around ..... 2 of us always very easy with food .... maybe cos we are kinda lazy too haha.....
Goh went to Blk 2A coffeeshop to get fried chicken wings ($1.20 each) to go with our instant bowl koka noodle. The stall is mend by malay staffs I think they are good in their cooking .... not only Fried Chicken Wings is good they have some other items I like too. Their Chicken chop rice is yellow rice ... and it comes with coleslaw too.
This is how we spend our cheap and good couple life without Alyssa!
I have sudden crave for those wan tan mee those noodle so I headed to Giant at Katong Complex to buy some stuffs that can go with the mee.
When Goh came back I started to cook the mee .... dunno why I am crazy over this and I just do up the sauce on my own .... and it turned out well hahah simply love the mee ..... and is always simple to cook anything when Princess is not around cos she will always say she wanna have porridge instead!
Lucky Goh never complain anything so I guess this mee suit him too haha .....
Is Mother's Day today .... somehow I feel everyday is Mother's Day nothing special actually. Went Ikea in the morning as I need to get something from there ... my dear Alyssa so happy cos she wanted to eat hotdog there and that's her favorite!
Went back home with 2 more hotdog cos she requested ...... since my cough still not well I took the medicine and went for a nap. Dearie woke me up at 6+pm and when we are watching the news and just nice it was showing the charity A Reason for A Smile news reporting that many have bought the cake for showing support then I realise that I have the cake to redeem so we quickly change and headed to Ritz Carlton to get the cake.
Since we were out we decided to have dinner at Swensen it was a 15mins Q wait ...... and while q-ing I saw this Mother's Day cake looks good so I asked my in laws whether they still have room for ice cream cake cos they were out for Mother's Day dinner. They went Tanglin Shopping Centre for Chong Qing Steamboat but cos I am still having bad cough so we decided not to join them.
Noticed that Swensen have some changes on their Menu and I opt for Chicken Breast .... is not tough and dry ... quite nice yummy and thumbs up and as for Goh he ordered a soft shell crab fried rice he said that it was good! TT choose to have a beef burger and I am surprise she eat beef and she commented it was good!
So after the dinner we went over to Bedok since we gonna bring Alyssa back ... and also share with all the Mother's Day ice cream cake!
