初一 we will make our way to my in law's place to have mee sua for breakfast ..... MIL will always cook for all of us!  Mine will always come with shredded chicken, abalone and fishball yum yum! 

After our breakfast we will give out AB to Parents and they will give out to us too!  Then we will all prepare to go for visiting.  1st stop is 外婆 's place at Ubi  ..... Ah Ghor will prepare lunch for us  to eat over there ... see CNY is all about EATING!  And is non stop!

After that we will proceed to big Uncle place at Aljunied ..... and is munching time again ... hahha ..... it was pouring heavily today ..... 冬至 rain 初一 sure rain .... been few years 初一 didn't rain.  So were "trapped" for sometimes before heading back to in law's place. 

At in law's place we will all "open table" to play blackjack ..... is always the practice once stepped in only gambling start *LOL* 

We will play quite long and after that my MIL will go prepare dinner ..... the rest will go back and left only Small Uncle and family for dinner.  After dinner will be going to Third Uncle house at Telok Kurau ..... follow by last stop Small Uncle place at Ubi ..... see the location? We were all so close to each other so time on travelling were short!  

Is gambling part 2 again ... and Wayne (Ah Ghor's son) went back home to get 大炮(martell)  over for drinking session.  大炮 was being "purchase" during the 7th mth festival ..... gambling, drinking at the same time is the best hahhaha and best is Wayne and myself munching and finished the whole bottle of crabstick!  

The whole party session ended around 2am! FUN FUN FUN!

                                                  First time sitting with TT on the $1 ride *LOL*

Woke up early and headed to Bedok cos I wanna buy Pussy Willow this year ..... so TT said that she was hungry and dragged me to Kungfu Paradise for breakfast haha the more I wanna siam ..... the more I can't ... I find the food standard dropped so I try not to dine there.

I dunno why TT love it so much that she wanna go everytime when we are in Bedok Point!  After the meal .... we went over to get the pussy willow and went back to Eunos to get some decoration for the pussy willow.  Goh was up early too to get our and TT's bedsheet change with some last minute cleaning up.  After our return he headed to get his baby grey grey washed and vacuum while I waited for my MIL to come to pray to the Bed of Godness.

After MIL left ..... we washed up and headed over to their place at around 3+pm ...... MIL started cooking ... I was tasked to tear the chicken breast into shredded so that can cook with shark's fins. After that I help to fry some fried item and help ad hoc work in the kitchen!

My MIL's 年糕 and hokkien mee very popular ..... the Goh man all like it very much!  And we were all having big belly after the meal.  While we cleaning up the elderly go around giving out AB to the younger generation.  The Goh family practice is after dinner will be giving out AB. 

Went back around 9+pm and do last min cleaning up and watching the CNY variety show, TT and I bought same bedroom slipper hahah and she insists wearing during CNY .... she have altogether 3 pairs of bedroom slippers!  TT slept after the count down while we 守岁.... but as usual I can't keep myself awake for very late I am the 2nd to be on bed and Goh always the last one......

My boss very good he gave us 1/2 day today .... so TT requested from me to pick her up instead since she do not have Heguru class today due to CNY so I went Bedok to pick her ... it was pouring heavily lucky Thomson came and gave me a lift.  

Before going over to the shop I went to do some shopping ..... the crowd is really horrible ... so many ppl around and is still raining heavily therefore is really packed! 

FIL went for delivery .... and I am stuck in shop .... usually MIL will offer to send us but if busy I will go back on my own but I can;t go cos is raining heavily non stop!  I am suppose to be home packing and wanna seretly throw Goh's clothing which I think he is not wearing but still wanna keep! And I have asked my helper to come earlier abit so can help me do more cleaning.  FIL came back at 4+pm thought we can go .... unfortunately tyre pong chek ...... haiz ..... so I have to wait for like 1/2h more to get that fix. 

I kinda kan cheong cos I bought powerbank from lootloot and I just bought it yesterday and they will be doing the delivery today from 5pm to 8pm.  So I am consider late to be home but phone never ring means good news!  

Back home for like 10mins delivery came with my item!  Yippie I am happy cos I know over the CNY period visiting will be whole day and I can't be using my charger everywhere hahaha ..... so ya kinda good buy for $45 saw one cheaper one but is was sold out within a day.  Now I have this with me I can watch movie and play game without fear of having low batt!

Mon - Thur - 4 - 7 Feb 2013

On Monday Maureen came with a gift from tupperware and it came in CNY kind of packaging with Almond and pistachio cookie inside.  Yum Yum!  We were thinking how to share among us .... so we just set aside for it see if there is any we can exchange.

On Tuesday night when I on the aircon I heard tad tad tad sound ...... so I didn't really bother and carry on to do my things ... but I dun feel any cool air coming so I look up ..... and I saw my aircon is actually freezing with ICE!  Yes is ice!  and I got shocked and quickly asked Goh to switch off the main switch outside the aircon ledge and at the same time we blow fan at it so that the ice can melt.  Call up the aircon service guy and schedule for checking tomorrow morning.

Wednesday morning the service man came checking on the aircon he told me once I off the main switch is consider resetting the whole thing therefore he can't check whats the cause of it but asked me to monitor further and ask me not to worry cos it won't explode *LOL*

Suppose schedule for today was taking half day leave and visit Ah Ghor and small aunt at their shop passing them my pineapple tarts but cos of the aircon incident i took full day leave instead so I made my way to Kovan first.  Played with the 2 boys for awhile and headed over to Bishan to do my lashes..... after my lashes done I walked over to Small Aunt shop and passed her CNY goodies.  It was pouring heavily so Goh came picking me up and went over to have dinner with TT ..... think she kept asking till my MIL buay tahan she called us and ask where are we haha 

On Thursday I went over to have my nails done ..... didn't go over in Jan and most of my nails go out of shape.  Kalos Nail is the nail saloon that I patronise last time it was open my ex mediacorp artiste - Lina Ng and then she sold it to her staff - Sandy.  I was with her since 2006 .... before I get married already look for her to do it ... her shop is located at Katong Shopping Centre Level 2.  

This time I have to do gelish cos this year reunion dinner will be at my in law's place..... our turn to 做东.  
So if I have normal pained nails will be gone soon .......  after have my nails done I walked over to PP to look for Goh ... he was there having his haircut and we went to get another set of clothing for him.  Headed to MOS burger for dinner ...... kinda disappointed for this branch here.  Milk tea was very diluted ..... chicken patty kinda dry ...... last time nicer now standard drop ... one thing which was never improved for this branch is SLOW service .... it can always create long Q for it!  Shall try some other branch next time!

Godma and Sis came joining us for reunion dinner cos left only the 2 of them ..... so we do one reunion again this year together.  Choosing a place near my mum will be easier cos Dad can wheel her over easily so we decided to go Thien Kee Steamboat.  I have been eating this since young ... they used to be at Bugis area as we call Hainan Street. 

Is fully air-conditioned so slurping of hot soup here won't make me sweat and I can eat comfortably with a full back chair .... haha lazy me!

They came in different sizes for the raw items .... and now they serve other food too and the set came in fishballs, pork slice, prawn, cockles (Goh love this), pork liver, fish maw, sea cucumber, fish slices, sotong, vegetables and egg!  Now they have do all kinds of zi char for add on beside the yummy chicken and chicken rice!  

Beside the ala carte raw items to be in the steamboat we started off  with yusheng lou lou lou hope everyone in good health and with good wealth for the year of Snake! 

If you looking for other soup base here you will be in great disappointment cos they only serve one and only chicken soup base ...... their base usually very bland you can actually add on some sauce easily from the dining table... beside that they have free flow of ginger and chilli there too ..... cannot miss that when having their chicken!

We order Satay too ...... last time they use to have chicken and beef too now only left pork .... my family love it ... they say it is really juicy!  So if you wanna give this Hainanese Steamboat a try ..... do drop by ....and give a try!

Hmmmm  to me  is the last weekend for me to go shop cos on the 9th I dun think I will wanna step into NTUC on the 9th cos I think it will be very pack!  So after we send TT to Berries we made our way to Bedok NTUC and at the same time Goh left his car to have his car tyre change.  We came acrossed FM97.2 having this roadshow with Chef Eric demonstrating cooking CNY food ..... and they have post questions for people to answer so Goh is one of them and and we have got a goodie bag from Polka!  

Went to pick up TT and back to Bedok to help my in law to close the shop and headed to Chai Chee for prayers.  Every 2nd of Feb of the year there were alot of people there ...... and we always need to queue up for the prayers.  Left the place at around 8+pm and we went for dinner at Xinwang Siglap .....

When we reached there ..... we are number 4 in queue we have to wait a little longer cos we are consider big group to them.  Gotten a seat at around 9pm .... and we were all so hungry.... ordered a main dish each.  Mine was the last to come I dunno why my food always last to come and I am pretty hungry! 

Before making payment they actually asked me about joining their membership .... in fact I rejected many times but this time I just go for it I paid $30 for the memberships and will get to have vouchers and birthday treat during birthday month.  

Friday - 1 Feb 2013

Took 1/2 day leave to continue doing my pineapple tarts just when i am thinking I still have time ...... I realise  not much time left and I still have not do for my Parents, In laws and relatives!  

At around 5.15pm I walked over to pick TT .... when I reached I saw them playing some simple games and she really enjoying herself!

Shall monitor her progress ..... and I guess she enjoy this class very much just like her Berries!
