Final check up ........ Wednesday 16 Jan 08

Being busy clearing off what I have on hand on my work station is great by clearing it off and I can go on maternity leave peacefully.  Got some gifts from my SIL, Jasmine and Steph (received it quite sometimes ago just that I no time to post on it).  Thanks sweeties pies ..... its very nice and sweet!

Today I went for my last check up ...... my baby is 3.4kg now ..... Dr Heng did a VE check for me ..... and to my surprise I am 3cm dilated!  Dr Heng say I can deliver you on 22nd .... but i still would like to stick to 18 Jan 08 cos my hubby like the 18 ...... cos 4 months later is his BD!

But Dr Heng told me can be anytime already hmmmm ...... pray .... and talk to baby to LUN for 1 more day cos I still have work to handover.  Give mummy one more day and mummy eat more good food before u come out.  Gotta be at East Shore Hospital on Friday 7.30am.  And after the check up I called up my hubby told him I will have to be in ESH at 7.30am please take leave on that day ...... he say he wanna bring me to ESH after that he wants to go back to work and when I am about to deliver he will rush down *faint*  I think by the time he rush down from Yio Chu Kang i already POP!  Baby will be disappointed if never see her daddy on the spot!

1st time i heard a husband / daddy to be to say this kind of things out and I am sure all mummies to be out there your husband don't do this to you ya??  I am very disappointed in what he have said!  Hanged up his phone and refuse to talk to him ... didn't he know he should be at on my side and give me support???  sigh ....... thanks to sz mei for brain washing him ..... now he realize his mistake.  Hope he learn his lesson! so pissed with him HNG!   So guys out there whom are reading my blog don't repeat this stupid mistake when your wife is about to deliver it really will disappoint your wife and baby! Think baby Alyssa will also pissed off with him!

I am a good mummy to be wor .... I listened to my Gynae Dr Heng advice hahahahaha ..... I go shopping on Sunday morning!!!  Left our lovenest at 10am to go Parkway, wanna have breakfast at Ah Kun unfortunately there is a long queue so we headed to food court to eat Tiong Bahru porridge instead.  Had a hard time looking for a place to seat ....... didn't know many of us having late breakfast ..... heehee .....

After our breakfast we walk around parkway ...... went in to several boutique to look at beautiful clothings ...... my hubby is nagging say I cant wear now dun waste time HNG!  I am actually helping him to save wor cos I went into them just for window shopping mah .... went in to look at his clothings too.  But silly hubby say no need to buy any new clothes for him cos he will be at home with me and baby Alyssa (Yeah! finally we settle the name already!) during CNY wont be going out at all!

After window shopping for apparels I went to Bengawan Solo ... hahaha  to buy some new year cookies to eat first cos I will be on confinement during CNY and wont get to eat at all.  So now I eat first hahahaha..... my best pal - Penny say no wonder your baby refuse to come out hahaha cos you are eating all the good food!  After buying all the goodies we went to Anderson Ice-cream to eat ice cream .... hahah think will be my last time eating ice cream before confinement!

I would like to thank all my beloved friends whom call and sms me to check how am I already and have I POP kekeke ...... thanks pals! Especially Penny ..... hahaha .... call me from Sabah almost every two days to check on me and even dream that I have already given birth hahaha ..... she is more excited than me!

Oh today is another of my sec pal's birthday - Happy Birthday Weeli!

Saturday - 12 Jan 2008

Went out at about 1pm to go Buangkok to attend my Friend Amy's baby shower ...... so fast 1 month liao wor .... I still went hospital to visit them!  Told Amy if I haven't deliver I will be attending kekeke so when I reached there 1st thing she said to me is 你还没去生阿? hahaha cos she is expecting me to go around this timing as well.  Have a great time there cos can catch up with some people whom I not met but only chat on msn ...... and of cos her parents whom I know since I know her! 

After we left her place I wanna go my mum's place cos baby Isaac is there and mu husband have not seen him for long time!  When I called back mum say he just left with his father (my bro) ai ya miss a chance to play with him again.  So I am wondering where to go cos is so boring and since Dr Heng advise me to walk more I decided to go Parkway to shop! 

Flicker minded me hop onto a cab and say North Bridge Rd (my mum's place) so I went back to my mum's place in the end.  Had dinner with them ..... dad bought lot sa food back ..... to share ..... cos my mum say next week u can't be eating all these liaoz SAD! hahahaha ..... well we all have a good time and we are so full after eating all those in!  Same symptoms as last night and my backache got worse ...... wonder me again will I be able to endure without  epidural???

Friday - 11 Jan 2008

Finally I have clear my targeted work that is set by myself and doing daily handover to my colleagues.  Feel more happy than last week heehee ...... now is next week still have other things to do .... but I will try my best to finish whatever I can!

Went back home at 5.30pm and thanks to Linda's husband whom gave me a lift to Paya Lebar side so I can be home early.  As my husband is having a meeting tonight I decided to buy some snacks and eat first while waiting for him to buy dinner for me.

To my surprise he reached home quite early than I expected ..... and he bought me Subway and long john silver chicken kekeke .... I eat alot hor .... but if I don't eat I wont get to eat during my confinement time!   Thanks my dearest for the delicious subway yum yum!

Spent my quality time with my dearest watching tv together till 1+am till my eyes can't open and off to bed ..... but during the quality timing I felt that something is not right for me ..... I feel PAIN!

YES!!!! I feel pain at my lower tummy menses cramping ....... OMG! This pain did not knock on my "door" for so long ... is quite unbearable and I kept waking up to go to the toilet ..... is the worst I ever felt throughout my pregnancy and now back is really aching ...... I wonder can I still go shopping ....... and was praying cos I wanna attend my frd Amy's baby shower tomorrow ....... *pray hard*

Reached MRT and was shocked to see so many people at the platform OMG meaning will be late for work already cos most train arrived with lotsa people inside and squeeze like mad!  Saw Frances & Sharon on the platform ..... Sharon reached there the earliest and she told me she have been waiting for 3 trains already and she can't get in.  For me,  I think I waited for 6 trains so Sharon waited for 9 trains!  And for me I dun have the ability to squeeze with people cos I am preggie .  I am standing there till my leg very tired ... cant even lean on something cos when you walk off other people will take your place in the Q. 

Finally, reached Paya Lebar station and to my suprise the traffic light were full of people too .... whats on earth is happening????  Ok fine ..... when i reached bus stop lucky my bus is here no need to wait for long.  Got up and got a comfy seat in the bus .... after 2 bus stop AN AUNTIE boarded and wanted to have a seat beside me.  She didnt wait for me to shift out and let her go in she just cheong in and when the bus starts moving she fell on my tummy!!! I am so angry and give her a fierce look and she apologise to me and dare not look at me anymore.  Really dun understand these auntie why cant she wait for me to shift out why must cheong nobody is going to snatch the seat with her! 

Nevermind dun wanna spoil my day but ... sigh ..... really cannot dun be sad .... an Indian worker came up my office and ask me to open the window for him cos he need to access to the roof to do some work!  And I call up the contractor and ask me when will they finish the job cos if they are there I can't use the toilet cos there is a window in the toilet ARGHHHHHH. 

My colleague & I have to go hawker centre to use the toilet lucky is quite clean!  But the thing is that I cant hold my bladder too long ... and I have to climb up & down the stairs just to use toilet! Very inconvienient for me .... hope that they quickly finish it and we are free to use it soon!

Wednesday - 9 Jan 2008 - 11th Check up

Went for 2 check ups today at Eastern Specialist .... one for my gynae check up another is my thyroid check up.  Think the nurse at the reception also know me liao hahah when I step in only ask me which Doctor am I seeing 1st hahaha ..... Went to my thyroid check up 1st ..... my doctor really cute ... he explain to me what are the 3 symptons of labour sign .... hahaha compare to my gynae he talk more wor!

After telling me everything he goes on checking my blood pressure and tell me my TSH is going up is not a good sign thats why he increase my dosage have to eat 200mg on Mon & Thurs and 150mg on other days.  Now I can remember!  I told him I am kinda forgetful at times so about 1 week plus I have been taking 200mg everyday .... he got a shocked! hahahaha he quickly ask my heart got pound harder anot got fast anot hahaha ...... really scared him so sorry Dr Lee to scare you ... i didnt mean too ... hahaha lucky he understand cos preggie mum always forgetful. 

After seeing Dr Lee ....... went over to see Dr Heng .... I actually lost 1 more kg compare to the last check up ...... waited for awhile cos there are about 5 of ladies in front of me.  When I step into gynae's room ..... 1st thing is "ai yo you still havent deliver har?" kekeke she is very worried that I cant deliver smoothly will have problem pushing cos I have big baby!  Guess what she is 3.3kg today!!! OMG!!! So base on the rate that she is going Dr Heng say if I deliver full term 40 weeks ... baby will be around 3.8kg or more!  So she tell me if by next week still no labour sign I would have to induce on 18 Jan 08 ..... which my hubby told baby to come out that day!  Dr Heng ask me to walk more ... go shopping, walk in park ..... which I am doing and that's is one of the reason why I don't want to go on leave yet ... cos when I am at home I will be more lazy!

After all the check ups I went over to my mum's place cos its been very long since I see and play with my nephew I miss him so much ... kekek he is still so cute.  He act shy when 1st see me but after awhile he played with me keke ..... my mum's place is in a mess thanks to my little nephew hahaha he is the one who mess it up ..... my dad say if he is going to tidy up he is going to mess it ... if you leave it he won't touch it! hahaha now I know why my parents so busy sometimes when I call them to chit chat in the afternoon.

Went back home around 5pm with the TUN TANG from the coffeeshop below my mum's place ...... sorry my dearest neighbours didn't call you all to take order cos I got problem carrying it already cos of my big tum tum now ...... spend my time with my hubby today cos as i mention earlier on third party coming out soon and we have planned to go shopping on Sat & Sun hope that I won't be too tired and end up on my bed resting kekekeke.......

Remember the Miss Clarity Cafe that I recommended last week?  hehehe ...... Today I went again and went back to work with great disappointment.  Why leh?  Cos I think i ordered wrong food lah hahahaha ...... RAMEN in that menu is MAGGI MEE LOH!  Their set lunch include this as well .... it cost $5.80 and you can add $1.20 to make into a complete meal.
I rather eat their western food leh ..... it taste better.  Wonder is I suay or what I ordered fried chicken tom yum ramen and they gave me seafood one instead!  Arghhhhhh .... and mine took very long time to serve...... and I already very hungry.   Remember order their western food dun order their maggie ramen for meal not worth!

Old bird is back to work ..... didnt really talk to her much cos am busy clearing what is on hand everyday in case I go deliver.  Everyday I hope I can finished my work on time so I can do a handover to my new colleague.

Today my hubby bought me dinner ....... from today onwards I wanna be with him as much as I can cos our 第三者 will be coming out very soon ........ kekekeke
