Accompany Goh to see Doctor this morning and he was cleared!  Meaning we can go out already!! YEAH! So Happy .... so we went picking up my Parents and headed over to CCK to attend baby shower.  This little man is my Grand Nephew - Kayden haha yes is GRAND nephew ... I feel so old leh and my TT she is the youngest Aunt!  

Goh waited for us downstairs cos I have asked my niece whether they mind him to be up there .... and they actually mind oh well so he waited for us in the car while we do a chop chop visiting.  Step in ... talk .... eat .... and go and is less than 45mins we left the place think my mum dun wanna stay long too cos her beloved son-in-law waiting downstairs haha 

My dear little gal went SEA Aquarium with her bestie (Abrielle) and family and she went over to stay overnight at Abrielle's house yesterday.  And according to Abrielle's mum the 2 of them very happy and Alyssa was doing well ..... my girl really very independent I wonder next time will she be like this and will not come home for days?

After sending my Parents back left the 2 of us so we headed to Parkway and spend our time together and headed to pick our Miss Alyssa up at around 8+pm.

Went Chikusen for lunch today ..... cos our Treasuere is buying us ... total 6 of us!  We each order a set and some sides to go along.

Ms Kim and Mr Choi, our 2 Korean coach ordered each a Tenzaru Soba Set ($18 each), Yongyi (part time gal) ordered a chicken Teppan Set ($15), Rosalind decided to try their saba shio set ($15), Noi wanted cod fish so she have Gindara Teriyaki Set ($18) as I am still coughing I opt for their Salmon Teppan Set ($15).

We order some sides to go with it ..... we saw this Pitan Tofu ($4) on the menu, photo seems good so we decided to have 2 to share but photo always on menu always deceiving is just small miserable piece so we just try one mouth each not too bad .. in fact so easy to make ourselves!

Rosalind also ordered mix sushi ($30),  beef foie gras ($30) and I ordered salmon skin ($8) with 5 Ocha ($1 each).  All the sets come with one miso soup and one chawanmushi quite full after eating the set and I didn't finish the rice.  My salmon was grill just nice .... still very juicy not too dry cos some will be over cook and will be dry. 

Rosalind commented that the beef was nice too ..... the foie gras with beef combination just nice!  each set comes with a small little dessert - Cold tofu pudding this was good really refreshing!  Total bill for the lunch after adding the GST and service charge was $225.98.  We were all back to the office with big tummy but the rest still go for ice cream for dessert as for me I have to skip it due to my cough!

Tuesday & Wednesday 

See the above porridge this usually served to Goh ... haha his food was that simple for the passed few days of not will be mee sua!

Kinda pity can't eat good food .... but glad that he is not tired of my fish porridge and his appetite is back can eat alot unlike the first few days he even tear when eating ice cream I can imagine how painful it was thank god is not Alyssa cos adult can't really bear with the pain how can a little gal cope!

On Wednesday I accompany Goh to see Doctor again unfortunately he was not being cleared so gotta go back to him again on Saturday as for me my cough was still bad ... this time running nose came knocking on my door!  I can hardly breathe sometimes due to block nose too and was given another 2 days MC.  Am kinda bored at home and have decided to go back on Thursday.

And I have got a call too from Noel asking me for email and send me a confirmation letter of attending their Wine Pairing Dinner.  This is a lucky draw that I have entered on Monday and was notified on Monday night about the winning!  Am looking forward to it!

After work I headed to Raffles Place to meet up with Valerie cos she will be the one whom will be accompany me to the Wine Pairing Dinner by Noel at Tower Club.  The dinner took place at level 62 ... awesome view from there!  We were served pre-dinner champagne after we do our registration .... and we were shown to our table at around 7.15pm sharp.

I was sitting with some other winners too with 2 Noel staffs whom will be with us throughout the night as a host.  We were served more wine and champagne as I am still coughing badly I asked for a hot water to go with the wine I have!

First up was the Starter - Mousse of Foie Gras tasted good but when you have more you feel a bit tired of it.   But it really goes well with the first glass of white wine given! 

Appetizer up next was Seared Hokkaido Scallop and it comes with spanner crab, peas, potato and some vegetables.  This was good .... scallop very fresh and the combination was good!  Thumbs up and this goes into the tummy in no time including others at our table!

Entree - Either Roasted New Zealand Lamb Loin or Slow Cooked Chicken Supreme.  Lamb Loin comes with onion, mushroom and cauliflower and according to the lady from Noel whom having this dish say that it don't have that lamb smell and it very nice!  For my chicken, it went well with the combination of sweet peas, baby corn and potato form is not very dry very nice and juicy! 

The highlights of the night that Val and I waiting for - Dessert - Spiced Wine it comes with vanilla ice cream, dried fruits and green apple.  Really yummy especially when it was mixed with the ice cream!  At the end we were served some small chocolate, macaroons, biscuit etc.

Both of us enjoyed the dinner very much especially the wine .... is really nice and I did learnt a bit on some wine cos there was one wine speaker throughout the dinner to give some tips on wine!  And each of us have a goodie bag to bring home it was some products exclusively for Noel hamper only can't get any from outside ... shall try it one of these days with my Alyssa!

Is our 7th Wedding Anniversary today ... but sad .... we can't celebrate ..... lucky that nothing we didn't book anything yet if not will be more disappointed! 

Since Goh still sleeping I ordered Mcdonald to kick start a mini celebration allowing him to eat something which is easy to swallow - Hotcake and Eggs!  He was happy to see the breakfast when I woke him up to wash up while I get all his stuffs sterilize before we have our breakfast.  

Both of us spent our day napping most of the time ..... cos there's nothing to watch on SCV boring ..... so both of us just make full use by rest as much as we can.  

Colleagues called and told me to rest at home ..... and asked me not to go office haha guess all very scare as I am still coughing too!  I am kinda worried cos I dunno whether job is done anot.  Auntie Rosalind called and told me to rest and not to worried cos the Part Time girl helped alot!  Same thing happen even when I am napping .... my mind dun seems to be resting this kind of feeling was very scary!  I guess is stressed! 

In the evening, Lester and Chane brought over some curry chicken and is really yummy goes well with my rice and veggie.  Goh can't resists he commented the smell was really good and asked for a little bite of it!  So I gave him some to go with his mee sua he loved it!  Hahaha that's how we end our 7th Wedding Anniversary with such yummy dinner add on!  

I hope we can have a celebration in June to compensate the wedding anniversary celebration ..... should start to plan from now.

MIL called and said that both nephew were cleared of their HFMD ...... so nice!  Now they can go out for meal ..... decided not to join them for dinner cos Goh will be alone .... so I cooked dinner at home and Alyssa choose to stay with us and eat home cooked food with us!

Lucky she still ok with the food I cooked and MIL wanted her to go back from tomorrow onwards ...... she was feeling sad and kept saying that she wanna stay at home.  She kinda lazy at times cos when my in  laws asked her to do some writing she did gave some excuses .... I hope she will change and not to be lazy next time when she is in Primary School..... as for now we have to really make her understand that is meant well for her when she was asked to write. :P

MIL came and pick Alyssa up to Berries while I cooked for Goh cos we are going out without him poor fellow! So I took a cab and went to Berries to pick Alyssa up cos now her Berries moved further in no longer at Kembangan CC so is very inconvenient if not driving.

Is been a while since I dine in Paradise Inn ..... lucky I made reservation cos when we reached there .... there was quite a bit of people waiting for table.  We were shown to a big table and given the menu .... so I just browse through and notice that there was some changes in the menu as compare to the last time I dine in.

I was asking for help from the waitress and a few tables of people looking at me ... I am thinking something is wrong with me or what. Hahaha ..... after I call for the waitress then she say is ok that she help me to take order then I realise that I have to order myself but no one passed me any order form!  

Ordered a few dishes 

• Salmon skin - Nice crispy 
• Prawn paste chicken wings - not too oily quite good 
• Wasabi Prawn - too much mayonnaise wasabi cream
• Fried Rice - yummy with some fish roe 
• Spinach with 3 eggs - quite decent, normal 
• Steam Fish - not nice 
• Braised Tofu - not too bad 
• Thai Fried Tofu - a bit dry 
• Coffee Pork ribs - Papa say not bad 

Food was good ... love the salmon skin very much fried rice was good too .... overall all enjoyed the dinner was the most important!  Thanks to Uncle and family whom bought coffee cake from Bengawan Solo Mummy so happy parted with them after I bought some groceries from NTUC.  Nice dinner and company but Goh can't join what a pity!

Monday - Friday - 29 April 2013 - 3 May 2013

Monday 

Both Goh and myself took urgent leave cos we found Alyssa's tongue with 2 ulcer and we actually brought her home last Wednesday and did not let her stay at my in law's place cos Alfred was down with Hand Foot Mouth Disease.  

We were worried so we brought her to the Doctor after I left office after I hand over some work to a Part Time gal.  Doctor confirmed that she was down with HFMD and given her 5 days mc.  Goh complained to me that he was feeling cold in the night and having high fever so I have to take care of 2 now. 

Tuesday 

Goh went to work and came back around 11+am .... he said that he was still having fever so he went to see Doctor after he change.  Came back and told me that Doctor suspect that he is either down with HFMD or dengue ...... I was taken aback so now I have to keep myself healthy so that I am able to take care the both of them!

Wednesday 

Goh work up saying that he was down with HFMD cos his feet have spots coming out..... SIL LC came over to pick me and Alyssa cos she need to go for review.  Lucky she was cleared of her HFMD and she can go to school!  SIL Celia went to get Dettol products for me and told me that everything have to sterilize after Goh uses. 

Thursday & Friday 

MIL came to pick TT to go off to school and i woke Goh up to see Doctor at the same time I went to see as well cos my throat was really pain.  I am so scared that I am down too if I am down I dunno where Alyssa will have go.  Lucky Doctor say mine is normal one and lead to cough so good that I can have a good rest and at the same time I can look after Goh.  This is the first time that we 2 see doctor together I hope this won't happen again!  On Friday his spots got worse and he was complaining that is really painful and so hard to walk.  Poor fellow!  These 2 days I have to cook for the 2 of them ..... and I myself coughing like mad .... and I didn't sleep well too my mind did not rest I dun feel I am sleeping even when I am actually sleeping.  That feeling was kinda scary ..... I hope this will be over soon!
