13/08/07 - Hungry Ghost Festival

Times flies .... is hungry ghost festival again ...... as usual nothing much happen today still on monday blues heehee ... and I was late for work today cos my lazy hubby laze ard till 8am then bath!

Every year I will buy a packet of praying offerings to pray at my work area to pray for safety and smooth work every year.  After praying, my President asked my GM to ask my colleague and I to eat durian with him.  Hahahaha 1st time he "ordered" us to eat with him ...... well we are not very willing cos we feel that he so fierce and everytime scold ppl kekeke so normally we will "siam" him.  This time we cant cos he is very near to us and of cos we have to give him face we must respect him too ..... my colleague seems unwillingly wanted to CIAO hahaha lucky I asked her over .... we have great chat during the durian feast!  And we spent almost 2hrs having the durian and chit chatting!

After the feast is already 5pm!  almost time to go home heehee ..... went to get Punggol Nasi Lemak for dinner as I am really quite tired of the food sold near my place.  Lucky there is no Q if not have to  Q very long .... .. i didnt take a photo of mine cos am too hungry lucky my hubby have late dinner tats why I can take his ..... is very nice to eat ...... but is a bit expensive   cannot eat too often heehee

Sunday 12/08/07

Arghhhh is Sunday again ...... meaning tomorrow gotta work already ...  Woke up around 10am this morning cos my dad is coming to bring me red dates tes prepare by my mum......
So sweet of her to prepare for me and even bought a flask just to contain the tea so it will still be warm when it is deliver to me.  Thanks papa & mama .....

Laze ard today and we change our bedsheet after changing it we felt hungry so my hubby & I went down to buy our breakfast cum lunch.  He mention to me a number so I went to 7-eleven to buy 4D.

After lazing ard my MIL called and asked we to be early today for dinner as we are going out to have dinner.  And my BIL & FIL need to go out in the late evening.  Headed to Blk 515 Bedok North Ave 2 kopitiam for dinner.  We have ordered our usual fav food - Fried Sotong kia, oats prawn,  deer meat,  deep fried chicken, Toufu and my FIL order a deep fried soon hock.

Compare to Blk 414 the food there of cos cant win them.... hehehe but still good ..... the fish is rather expensive costing abt $40!  Not worth to eat in kopitiam at this kind of rates heehee .....

After dinner, we went back to my BIL's hse and was looking at teletext .... my hubby shouted 2128! is 2128! hahahaha YES! I strike 4D is a consolation prize but I am happy already cos I have missed a 1st Prize last mth ......thanks to my hubby for reminding me to buy this number which we saw last night cos our Senior Minister Mr Goh Chok Tong was in that car of this number! heehee ...... hope can strike again hahaha so I can save more for my baby's milk powder & pampers!

Is 11+ now ..... oh sianz ... is blue Monday again tomorrow why weekend always passes so fast.....forever......

Laze around till late Noon ard 4 plus to 5 then 2 of us make our way to my mum's house cos she have "ordered" me and hubby to go makan with them today.  Happily hop on to MRT and I was with my preggy dress today and was standing in front of a lady guess what the lady look up at me and she close her eyes and pretend to sleep!!!! I am not angry of she not giving up seats but I am just pissed tat she got this kind of attitude ....... wait till she is preggy and someone do that to her then she will know whats the feeling like.......like one of mummy to be in the motherhood forum told me she is like a lullaby hahaha think I am one of them too

Went to this restaurant call 鼎鲜楼 located at Golden Mile Tower all their food is @ $4.80 cheap right?  They have lobster, crab, shark's fins, prawn, fish, chicken and many more!  we did not ordered any crab or lobster haha maybe we lazy using our hands ..... we ordered each a bowl of sharks fins, pork ribs, bean sprout with saulted fish, chicken fillet with mango, frog legs, deep fried prawn & sotong.  I have 2 bowls of shark's fins cos I wanna try our the sour & spicy flavor is a NO NO so dun order that if you wanna try.

This is not the 1st time eating there, compare to 1st time I find the food a little bit out of standard dunno is it because I am preggy and I feel that it taste different while my parents and hubby dun think so keep saying I HIAM too much muahahahha.

Well since thats the case I shall go on a third visit and I wanna try their crab next time anyone wanna go with me?

Woke up by a super early morning call by my mum at 9am! To me a public holiday or weekends is very precious 9am is very early loh cos my plan is to sleep till 11am.  My dad and mum bought me and hubby breakfast Thanks my dearest parents!  Love ya! And about noon time we headed to my brother's new hse.  Play with my little nephew for awhile and off we go to Kovan for a walk.  Reach there ard 1+ and I started to feel hungry so we headed to XIN WANG HK cafe for lunch.  1st time I cant finish my food ...... and was scolded by my mum hahaha but ..... baby dun wanna eat liao I got no choice kekekeke cos I NEVER waste food b4 thats why I so fat loh muahahhaha

Ard evening time we make our way to SZ mei mei hse and we watch NDP together.  We give the performance a miss and make our way to Kallang Mcdonald to pack our food intending to have a small "picnic" at nearby kallang area so we can enjoy the fireworks.  Could't get a good spot and view of it.  Hon Hon just drove us to Nicholl Highway thinking we could just hit ECP later on but it was smooth all the way so decided to drove on.  hahaha when we reach at suntec area we manage to catch the red lion doing their night jump.  Manage to catch it heehee but poor hon hon have to drive so he cant really see.

Sz mei & I are screaming cos it seems like the whole SG ppl are there watching the parade and all of them are in red!  drove along Shenton Way and there are many ppl whom park their car along the side and strat walking towards he construction sites to catch the fireworks.  We have no luck to find any good spot so we ask hon hon to drove us up to ECP ......

A turn from the 1st road to ECP is JAM up! oh gosh we thought we have no chance ..... hon hon then drove down to another entry to ECP lucky we manage to "squeeze" thru all the way and while in the queue the fireworks just started off in front of us.  We heard lotsa screaming from other cars and those who are on the lorry catch a very good view!

SZ mei & I almost half body are out of teh window just to catch the beautiful moment.  Sad to say no one come out from their car to wath so I dun dare to step out ha ha ..... I remember in 2005 I was with sis Lichuan in the car and we are stuck at ECP only one lane is smooth ... and the rest of the lanes those driver and their passenger just come out of their car awaiting for the fireworks!

It is really an unforgettable day for me, my hubby, hon and sz mei..... 4 of us enjoyed it very much ..... thanks hon hon for driving us to watch fireworks..... initially he is not very willing to   hahahaha cos he hate the JAM and he is super hungry!  hon hon no regret ya?

After a day of hard work, I met up with Coco, Weeli and  my husband to go Kallang Airport  one of the kopitiam to have their  鱼头炉.  Order some other side dish to go go along with it ... of cos there is a fav dish - sweet potato leaf heehee love eating this very much.....

This is my 1st time eating YU TOU LU hahaha .. sua ku hor .... cos my mum dun take fish therefore it won't come to my mind having this when I am with her hahahaha .....

When Coco suggested this 1st thing in my mind ...... and I asked her IS THERE ANY FISHY SMELL??  Nowsaday I am afraid of this smell wonder why ..... last week my colleague make me a fillet sandwich I ate one mouth only throw out everything the smell killed eeeeeeeeeee .  Lately my appetite have been very good eat quite alot hope my precious baby will be eating happily inside too .... kekeke

I dun like her .........

My organisation have employed a part time lady whom will be handling our accounts.  After my ex manager left the company all along the accounts is handle by our treasurer.  Wat we actually need now is more admin staffs to help me & Jolene for our workload being pass down after my Manager left. 

Both of us have shared his work between the both of us and lucky accounts is handled by our treasurer.  This lady seemed to be very bossy kind, came in today at 10am start to do work ... not on accounts but clearing of all the things on the table hmmmm she think is rubbish but the things she throw or cleared might be important to us well .....  Funny thing is that she ask Jolene abt our receipt books which Jolene have already arrange it properly Jolene told her that she better dun re-arrange 1st wait for our treasurer she say nevermind and start to re-arrange.  So funny if she insists why bother to ask ya?

Never see such a person before so rude of her to throw away things and never ask abt whether is it important.  Well if next time my GM wanna find anything and it is not found it has nothing to do with me or Jolene GOOD LUCK!

After 1 1/2h of packing she started to use the com and she read our minutes! She is not suppose to read our minutes which is confidential.  And about 12.40pm she approached me and ask me do I close the ofc when I go for  lunch I told her YES!  And she went back to her plc dig out a key and ask me is the key to the main door I say NO! and she is only a part time staff and she want the key for what and she only work morning and shouldnt have lunch too mah .......

She came back at 1pm and read newspaper till 2pm and she left for the day hahaha think we paying her to come read newspaper and do housekeeping ....... she only mainly do accounts no need to go bank, no need issue cheques, no need to handle petty cash sigh ..... back to square 1 Jolene & I have to share the job back again.  Thinking she will help but too bad ..... she is not going to cover us.  I dun mind doing all these but my organisation dun appreciate us at all .... :( kinda sad leh  if they were to increase a bit of salary to us we will be most happy cos I think we really work hard for it but ..... no one appreciate leh ......well I swear I will not talk to her cos I have some info that she is a 2 headed snake and must really becareful of her now ..... sigh hate to work with this kind of person.  Think our life will be miserable liaoz .........

Blue Monday ....

Don't really like Monday cos is the starting day of the week .  And only starting of the week we are very busy already.... cos there is a visitor coming to visit our premises.  So many people come to our office today just to welcome this special guest and cos of that my colleague & I have to be busy packing up our place even our office cleaner have to make her way to make our office clean.  Wonder why cos our office is always clean .... and I dun think this special guest will look ard our plc to see whether is there any dust or litter ard. hahaha I feel its so funny.  But anyway I think that special guest is very happy with the warm welcome .

After a long day, I make my way home and was waiting for SZ mei to call me after her tuition cos we intend to ta bao dinner while hon hon & YZ go for their jogging and oso while waiting for my laogong to come back home. 

waited for an hour SZ mei still have not call haha maybe her troublesome student - Sharon is giving her problem didnt wanna call her to disturb I sent an sms to her ...... waited for quite sometimes no reply I thought she wanna cancel it nearly cooked instant noodel for dinner cos I am very hungry.  Luckily she called heehee telling me she is at a corner kopitiam near Telok Kurau kekeke WOW she cycle there while Hon & YZ jog. 

So pai sei cos she have to go there to ta bao .... she told me the hokkien mee is very nice so my laogong & I each order one packet.  And they met my BIL & SIL there too ...... hahaha YZ & my SIL - Celia are colleagues in same company heehee so coincident .....

Kinda make my day leh cos of the dinner and of cos the company of hon, YZ, SZ mei & my laogong heehee ...... thanks to sz mei, yz & honhon!
