TT turn 5 today! Time really flies ..... really cannot believe haha ... and that show I am growing old every single day! This year is the first time Mr Goh celebrated her actual birthday in school after 3 good year of celebrating it in school cos this year he need not go for reservist!
We woke up early and headed off to collect balloons for her .... I have order the walking pets balloons from MiiniWorld thanks to Geok Ping for the contact.
This year I took out the goodie bag concept and gave balloons instead cos every time it will end up with lotsa sweets, chocolate etc. To be frank I dun usually give TT all these when I am at home so all these will be in a container and when time comes by it will end up in the dustbin cos mostly will expire already.....
After collecting the balloons we headed over to collect her Princess Cake ..... this time she chose to have a Cinderella! Something different cos she will always opt for pink dress Princess instead of blue .... dunno this time she choose something different!
When we step into her class she was so happy ... hahah introducing us to all her friends and the kids was all excited about the walking pets balloons! We left after distributing all the goodies to the kids .... Dearie headed to collect a souvenir watch from his camp while I waited for TT to be release from school at my MIL's shop. After fetching her .... we decided to bring her out and I asked Abrielle (TT's bff) whether she wanna join us. Wanted to go Wild Wild Wet but seems very hot so we decided to go Liang Court - The City to take a look. Hazel brought her kids there before and I wanted to let TT try cos she love role playing!
After a good 3hrs play .... and she requested to eat Sakae we brought her to Suntec branch ..... after meal shop around we were all very tired .... so we asked Abrielle whether she wanna stay with us for the night ..... she say yes ... so the 2 gals happily bathing together, play ..... watch TV ... but at about 11+pm .... Abrielle walked into my room and say that she wanna go home that was after talking to her Parents at about 10+pm .... guess she misses them after talking to them! Her Parents and Ah Ma came to pick her up at around 12am! Poor TT she was crying after hearing Abrielle is going back with her parents .......
TT always want me to bake cookies and this time she want me to make for her birthday so immediately after work I went back home to bake Angeline's cookies! Hahah thanks once again Angeline sis for the recipe to make the gal happy!
As I am very green still for the temperature control of my oven .... so some cookies turn out very dark ..... but still quite yummy ...... hope that she will enjoy her birthday tomorrow!
Was feeling very tired and always have very bad shoulder ache I guess most of the desk bound people will get this cos due to long working hours on the PC.
Overheard what my in laws all raving about this TCM saying that she have help them in relieving some sickness and aching. So I asked my MIL to help me book one session with her ..... my appointment with her was 730pm.
So before my dinner I just went in .... told her about the aching and I told her that I am actually wanna get preggy again haha .... so she told me if I am ok she will give me some chinese powder but i hate that smell so i didn't take any from her.
After that she told me she wanna do accupuncture for me ...but I opt for Gua Sha instead ... is really painful ... this is the first time I am doing it! Immediately my back become very red ...... and I really feel better after that ..... is really relieving but is really painful till I wanna cry!
TT came over and this little sweetie of mine comfort me she feel that I am in great pain with the redness on my shoulder that really melt my heart! And I have to wait till 11+pm then I can bathe ..... gotta come back for more as doing gua sha is only 制标不制本!
Thomson wanna gave us a treat for lunch but he was late so we just go ahead choosing what we wanna eat. And we chose Penang Kitchen (Katong) for lunch since is been sometimes since we visited.
Waitress whom took our order was a foreigner she was not really friendly .... and dunno how to recommend the food. Choices of dishes was limited so we order a few like sambal kailan, Fu Yong Seafood Egg, fried chicken wings, sambal prawn and for appetizer we order mango salad and fruit rojak..... the rest will be some main course like sin chow bee hoon (on the menu it was added as a new item), fried kway tiao, fried rice (1 non spicy and 1 spicy), prawn noodle....
Restaurant was half filled for the lunch crowd .... serving of food was quite fast ..... and in no time our table were full of food!!! One local auntie whom served us food was more friendly she was so kind to give us extra bowl to share the food too!
Overall we feel the fried rice, prawn noodle was good .... sambal prawn cook with more lady fingers than prawn, seafood eggs was over priced .... very thin egg was served with little ingredients inside. So after the lunch .... we order dessert too ..... be cautious when you do ordering especially the Tang Yuan ..... my boss and I ordered that with red bean base and almond base respectively ..... the tang yuan was not cook! Both of us were like eating powder ball instead cos we can feel the flour! I think only their cold dessert can make it but not the hot one at all!

Overall still ok in my rating of 3.5/5..... definitely will wanna come back for more of their fruit rojak and prawn noodle!

Food Republic was opened at parkway they took over the banquet at the basement area prices all go up ..... but it looks good cos the deco was so nice ..... more variety ... more seating available. Today I was upset by Auntie J again ..... so I asked Auntie Rosalind to go lunch together!
Auntie R told me that Linda (my ex-colleague, Pauline's Auntie) told her that one of the 盐鸡 stall very nice so we headed to try. So coincidence that Auntie R's hubby was q-ing behind us .... guess this chicken draw lotsa attention!
Chicken was tender .... and deceiving photograph of the rice was clearly show with lotsa of chinese sausage but end product is only like 1/4 of one slice of it! Soup was ok .... very flavorable..... overall .... I guess there will be much better stall around which I have not cover!
Thanks to Angeline for sharing her pineapple tart recipe .... I use to like open pineapple tart .... after tasting Angeline's I like the close one hahaha .....
Last year I went to her place to learn ..... this year I totally forget how to do it ..... gotta ask Angeline for the recipe and the steps ..... sorry about that! I had try once before this bake and I forgot to rub in butter I just happily pouring in eggs first instead ... taste was there just that the texture is a bit sticky and the tart came up to be too big look like Shao Bao instead! See how forgetful I am *sigh*
So today I do it slowly and since TT is not home I have time to bake even after work! I still need some practice on it and I must also keep a look out on the oven temperature control cos it always turn out too brown ...... and I am gonna make alot to give to my relatives and friends hope I can do it!
After Hyatt we headed to Bedok Point to meet up my in law ...... they having a dinner at Bedok Paradise Inn .... as MIL still cannot feast my BIL cancelled Irodori reservation. Tonight is to celebrate my SIL's birthday which falls on 17 Jan .... and TT's birthday is on 18 Jan usually they will do it together.
BIL said that we didn't tell him we have already eaten .... hmmmm we didn't much at Hyatt .... but was really very full. So we just had some without any rice or porridge. Didn't take the food as I feel I am very tired and full ... but so far Paradise Inn still never fail me in anything!
Just after the food we have a small cake cutting with them ..... and cos of my MIL admittance to the hospital I didn't get any present for my SIL yet ..... so will give to her one day before her actual birthday when we visit TT.
Parted with them ...... send my in laws back while the young one make their way home by foot! Enjoyed myself very much today ..... for the celebration at 2 different places with my loves ones including you all my multiply gers!
