Friday - 4 July 08 Day 3 in Taipei

                                              She is our 导游 for the 1/2 day tour                              it use to be called 中正记念堂 now is called 自由广场                                           卫兵换班交接仪式                                               忠烈词 - 供奉着历年忠勇牺牲的烈士牌位                                                        We are at 故宫博物院                                                     本港小吃 - 阿给                                                  I love this place heehee                                                            Look alike mah?                                                    We are at 淡水Today 8am our guide pick us up and total of 10 people in this small tour group.  We set off to 自由广场 for some photo taking and of cos knowing of some history there.  Ex-President - Chen Shui Bian wanna tear down the entrance of the place but lotsa ppl against it so he change the name instead!  After that we headed to their 阿美族 place to hear some sales. they are promoting their 峰王浆 so we bought one big one so can give some to my in laws.  Well I roughly know that sure have this things going on for tour .... sigh .... which I don't really like following the tour.

Next we went 忠烈词 lucky we are there in time cos we see the changing shift of the military was there for about 5-10mins and off we go to 故宫博物院.  There are alot of 国宝 inside including 宝藏, 名人书画, 陶瓷器, 铜器, 翡翠, 雕刻, 刺绣和历史文物.  After about 20-30mins spending there the guide bring us to a "con" shop they are there telling you your name how many stroke no good lah this and that ai ya .... in SG oso have these kind of shop rite?  Arghhhhhh spend the wrong time with wrong people hahaha but am interested in going the museum so no choice.

Time flies and is about 12+ to 1pm they are heading to 九份 after lunch and they ask whether we wanna join in after thinking we will be damn broke if we still follow hahaha ...... so we decided to go other place on our own.  The bus driver is kind enough to drive us to 五分埔 cos we are going to buy something there and after that we head straight to 淡水.  Wanted to go hot spring which is located mostly in 北投 due to time constraint we drop it.

Reached 淡水 and we walk around and of cos eat!  We had the 本港小吃 - 阿给 yummy remember to have that when you are there.  The fishball soup is nice too!  After such a long walk we went to the massage shop to do massage ..... about 40mins is good enough ..... wanted to do the threading haha but i scare of pain so never try it.  We walk around the river and see street performers and also Artist.  A place where I feel so relax .... and most of the people bring their dog there for a walk.

Went back to 士林 to do a last min shopping before heading back to our hotel for shower ....... wanted to go 中孝敦化 for dinner in the end we went to 中山.  Wanted to try Casa Della Pasta but we didnt cos it close at 9.00 so we went to a Jap restaurant is called 鲜定食 I have misplace the name card and could'nt provide the addy.  Will do it when I find it ..... the food is good and ambiance is good too ..... if you happens to be at 中山 look for it ...... if you are buying 李制饼家 you will come across this Jap restaurant

After the meal we went back to 龙山寺  station and took a walk to another 夜市.  We went to 历史悠久的华西街 and 广州街夜市 nothing much for this 2 places ..... if you really have the time and nothing much to do your hotel is nearby then you go if not can skip it unless you are into eating snakes or turtle that place is famous for that.

Since is a last night we went walking around .... so we walk to their 24hr Carrefour ...... hehehe and on the way we see one siao char bor .... is really siao de loh .... she scolded everyone whom walk pass her..... both of us run very fast away from her kekeke ...... walked around carrefour and we walk to XMD ....l this time I am able to taste the Kungfu Panda Nugget! hahaha .....bring our supper back to our hotel to enjoy ...... arghhhh think is normal nugget only nothing fantastic ....... I started to miss my TT and also starting to miss Taipei ...... cos I still have lotsa place did not cover ...... we slept very late today ...... cos both of us starting miss the place .... wish I could stay longer...............
