Saturday - 13 September 08

Went to huat's place with bird at around 11+am and I bought them breakfast and Weifeng came at around 1+pm and we had a game of MJ since is being along time since we have a gathering and MJ session. 

At around 6+pm we went over to KKCC cos there is a Multi-Racial Lantern Festival event going on today and YEC is in charge of the game stall.  Is quite fun seeing all the kids enjoying themselves lucky there is no rain today!

After the event, we strolled home and bought our dinner from market ...... very tiring ..... cos I have been staying up quite late for the past few days.  TT also K.O after we bathed and changed her.  I still have lotsa housework never do .... arghhhh but I am so busy but I am happy!

Friday - 12 September 08

"婶婶 when are you going to cut your fingernails"?  This is what my nephew - Alfred asked me last Sunday while we having dinner and everyone burst into laughter cos he seems like a discipline master to us! 

 

Since I am on leave today I booked appointment with my manicurist to have my nails cut.  Usually i will spend that money cos I have super hard nails and I have difficulties in cutting them.  Jo help me cut one broken nails before and guess what her nail clippers is bent!!!  And today is my 1st time shaping my eyebrow using threading method is painful hahahah but the lady say 1st time usually is like that.  Shall try it again next time and hope is not so painful anymore!

Went to pick up TT at my MIL's shop and took a cab down to United Square to meet my fellow SGMotherhood friends.  And one of them mylife(Fenny) came back from HK so we meet up to catch up with one another.  mylife's daughter - Rylee is so pretty ....... she have beautiful skin complexion ..... OH 白里透红 she so pretty!!!  And of cos all babies so cute ..... and all very 乖乖 de .......

We all had a great time exchanging how our baby behave, what solid food we introduce to them and of cos photo taking is not to be miss.  TT behaves very well today ......she fell asleep on her own after i strapped her and all the way till I reached home. 

 

Thanks to Hannah(blessedbaby) who being so helpful in finding seats for me when we took train back together and of cos to the people whom gave up seats to me .  Think little piglet have put on weight cos I feel tired after carrying her for just a few hours!

Thursday - 11 September 08

Was busy today at work cos I need to clear up some jobs on hand asap as I will be on leave tomorrow and Monday will be a busy day for me.

Take a walk home from Singpost and drop by the Hari Raya Bazaar to look for Skye he have a game stall there.  He told me that business is not that good cos not much crowd during weekdays, rental is $3K quite hard to make a profit I think break even will be good enough. 

We had long john silver for dinner today, Dearie had their chicken rice poor dearie didn't have enough cos the portion is quite small.  So I bring out the Bakerzin mooncake and we share ...... ha ha ha is so small too!  Dearie isn't it good to eat little during dinner time?

Wednesday - 10 September 08

Ming gave me and Jo a present - is a keychain .... is very nice .... with a pic and our name on it and can blow whistle too ..... so cute and sweet of her thanks!

We went PP to get mooncake for her hope she will like it is durian flavour tried on the spot taste not bad cos is pure durian.  Its from Home's Favourite Pte Ltd they have another charcoal type auntie say it help in 排毒 (detox).  Didin't buy that cos I can't accept mooncake to be ORH CHAP CHAP!

Bought one yam mooncake from Bakerzin tried the sample seems good so I bought one for myself small and ex hahaha it cost $5+.  They came in a box of 8pcs and is assorted flavours - Red Bean, Orange, Sweet Potato & Yam.  They have liquor flavours as well - Brandied Cherry, Rum & Rasin, Pink Champagne & Single Malt Whisky this cost $42.  Bakerzin member & Citibank member will have discount if you purchase 1 box & above.

This year I still yet to get any mooncake to give to my in-law usually this time I will have given to them ..... hmmm guess that I will have to do it within these few days soon. 

结了婚,有了孩子 = 没有了自我?

I have come across a magazine asking a celebrity that after marriage life and with children = don't have yourself.  Actually to me I can feel so ..... cos nowsaday I have friends whom are single and married but no children yet, like try not to go out with us.  Some questions have been popping up in my mind :

• Is it because they want us to have a family day? 
  
• Is it want us to spend more time on our baby? 
  
• Is it too troublesome to bring baby out with us?
• Is it we have done something wrong and you all dun wanna go out with us?

Well now my friends around us whom we always go out with are those married with babies......In fact those long lost sec. friends who contacted us through facebook are all married and with children!  Why I wrote this cos I really can feel that some close friends of mine is like drifting away ....... nothing went wrong just that it drift away like that it seems more like a MSN friend then a very close friend to me .... kinda sad about it cos I don't know what happen .......

Sunday - 7 September 08

                              1st October 08 8.30pm will telecast the 1st episode                      Blessedbaby being interview twice - one by Kym and one by Mark Lee
Reached East Point Mall at 10am and shocked to see so many people around and is Q-ing up to get the number tag so that they could go for the audition round.  Hannah aka blessed baby one of my forum friend was there at 8.45am and her Q is 17.  Q no. 1 was there at 7am!!! OMG!!! I am still in lala land loh.

Heard one of the mediacorp assistant says that is meant for 1st 50 babies seeing no chance cos the Q is up to 150 already and they stop giving out Q number after that we went up to 2nd level to watch the show.  After hearing what Mark Lee explained then we know that they will only give out Q no. 151 and above out when they couldn't find the cutest 50 babies out of the 150 babies.  So we headed to KFC for our brunch and met dearie's NS friend & family they are there for the contest too and they came all the way down from Sembawang!  They have Q number 15 and reached at 8.30am.

When we finished our food and we see that they are still giving out the number we just went to pick one and we are 196!  Q for about 10-15mins ..... they annouce 50 babies is being found hahaha  ..... we are there just to have fun but some are not they are so serious!  A couple still quarrel over this issue on the spot kinda 丢脸 right?  Especially with so many people looking at you!  Dearie say lucky never go also cos if being chosen have to be there till late noon as 3 of us were so tired, we went back home and the 2 of my precious totally KO.  I napped for awhile and off we go to Bedok 85 to have our disc changed and to my in laws place for dinner.

We had an early dinner cos we are going to play Badminton later at 8.30pm thanks to my SIL - Celia for booking of the court.  We have an enjoyable time .... its been years since we play badminton .... the 2 kids were so happy!  We also think is time for us to work out good for health too.  Dearie complaining he is growing BUI again as for me Dr Lee & Dr Heng is nagging me to KIAM BUI.  As for TT ..... she is napping while we are playing and she is really ZHUN we are about to end the game she woke up crying cos she feels warm,  her fan is not working strong enough for her heehee

Saturday - 6 September 08

Woke up to clean up the house cos my part time maid came at 9pm yesterday!  OMG! So I only asked her to clean my toilet and iron the clothes for me and I will vacuum and mop the floor myself.

Bought some ti-bits from motherhood forum so went to collect it before meeting my parents to go my 姑姑 house.  We are bringing over DOM and some chicken essence for my cousin whom have just given birth weeks ago.  And we will be attending her baby shower next week, yet to see my little nephew.

After staying at my 姑姑 house for about 2hours we headed to Ikea Alexander to shop.  We went over to Anchorpoint for an early dinner wanted to go to Mickey Mouse restaurant to eat but I guess my parents won't like it so we had dinner at the food court.

Bought some storage items for the house and bought a children laundry bag can store other stuffs too so I used it to store TT's toys.  Bought one for ourselves too cos mine which is meant for dry clothing is spoilt so I replaced it.

Reached home around 8pm and it started to rain again.... lucky we are a bit earlier again if not will be caught in the rain.  Went to bed quite early and thanks to my dearie whom is always the one throwing rubbish,  washing all the milk bottles,cups, plates, pots that TT & I  used earlier on cos my timing strike 12am  .... I will auto go to bed and KO.
