我们去游泳loh!  Waited for this AquaDucks trial for quite sometimes thanks to mei from our Jan'08 motherhood thread mummy whom always coordinate all this trial programme for us really appreciate your effort!   And best of all she always have good lobang for us!  If you need any tupperware items you can look for her too hehehe ..... click here to go her blog and contact her

Wanted to join the 10am slot but cos we couldn't get a cab earlier on we reached The Pines only at 10.10am so I will still stick to the 10.30am slot.  Mei got huggies to sponsor us the Little Swimmer diaper too.

Aquaducks have complimentary trial check it out if you wanna let your baby try.  For TT she enjoyed very much at first I am still afraid that she might be afraid of the water and will grab hold tight of me but I am wrong hhahaha ....
 
Although is just a half an hour of programme TT is total shack out when I bath her under the shower she was lying on me totally relax and Dearie told me 1st time hassle free to wear diaper for her.  Cos usually she will turn here and there when we try to change her .... dearie say she is lying flat and shacked out!  As for me I have to be alert of her when she is water with me hahaha so I am really tired.

3 of us went back home and ZzzZZZzzzZZ all the way till late evening hahahaha ....

Took leave today cos I want to explore and know more about childcare line and is all along in my mind for so many years.  Cynthia is having a centre at Katong CC so she asked me to go try it out cos not all people will like the job.  Tricia have arranged me to attached to a Nursery teacher in the morning 8am to 11.30am and a K2 Teacher in the afternoon 1.30pm to 5.00pm I will be assisting them.

Reached Katong CC at 8am sharp and went into the room 107 to look for Teacher Irene and I was told that they are having a celebration today for Mid-Autum Festival, Hari Raya, Deepavali and Thanks Giving Day.  Each student have to bring food and there are 2 student's birthday on that day and there are 2 birthday cakes too!

There isn't any morning class is all games for the whole morning they are being mix & split into different ages and class in  there are total of 4 station to go to and each station have a teacher to be there to teach them about the festival and also some simple games.  After all the games, we went to the hall for the food..... things is that they dun have any forks and spoon and some parents cook bee hoon end up they have to use hands to eat and is all over the floor!

At around 12+pm half day student preparing to go home and for full day student they are being attached to me so I bring them to the cateen for lunch.  Hmmmm was wondering can they stuff in the food after having so much food in the hall earlier on.  There is one 张老师 insists the children to finish up the food she even bring one whom can't finish the food to the classroom and feed him!  Another one is crying ..... so poor thing ..... hehehe .... kids so cute!

At around 1pm, I bring the nursery children to the classroom for short nap .... some still need patting, 3 of the girls told me they can't sleep and wanted to chit chat with me but when I went out to get my lunch they fall asleep already!  Another assisting teacher - a china lady quite CHOR LOR (rough) she threw all the sleeping bags on the floor like nobody sleeping on the floor ... lucky never hit the kids.

Woke them up after about 45mins of nap and I bath them think only 5 or 6 is bathing and only 1 need to wash her hair.  That china woman say I very slow but the water there is so little I really can't let them go out with soapy body!  After bathing I handle them to 张老师 for class and went up to K2 class located at level 2 to look for Teacher Jennifer.

Afternoon class is easy same thing no teaching only playing!!  Is their free time from 2.00pm to 2.30pm as for me I am chit chatting with Teacher Jennifer and of cos we both will look around what the children doing.  Bring the kids down to canteen for their tea break and also to distribute some leftovers of cakes just now.  After tea break we went to the dancing room to sing and dance, then to the playground.  Teacher Jennifer  told me anything also not important most important is safety must really keep a good lookout of them in the playground.

Went up to the class at around 4.00pm and we teach them how to do some simple arts & craft.  Using colored pasta (Penne) to do necklace, bracelet, anklet etc some even come up the ideas doing hair band and belt.  There is one ang mo kia so sweet to make one necklace for his mum ..... wonder next time TT will do for me anot hahahaha ......

4.45pm I bring some students whom taking school bus down to their respective buses and it end my day.  The job is fine cos all the children so lovely hahah one girl complain to me that a boy keep kissing her hahaha so cute right!  D

Dun really like the Teacher Irene cos she is like more to herself didn't tell me much ... not very well prepare herself for the celebration, give me wrong info.  As for Teacher Jennifer she is good, she introduced herself to me early in the morning and told me that I will be with her in the afternoon and taught me a few things and her experience.  She look so young and her daughter is same age as me she guide me all the way not so lost liao after her kind guidance.  Overall is fun and brand new experience to me ...... should I have a change?

Went over to Blk 85 Bedok cos I have finished watching  my previous TVB series - 当狗爱上猫 is time to change a new series.  While waiting for Dearie at Blk 85 I went to rent the disc and we are watching the everyone is talking about it show that is - 糖心风暴之家好月圆.  It cost me $49 for the whole series 40 episode kekeke I got a shocked hahaha cos is the most ex rental I paid so far.  Heeheh well I think is worth it cos is a nice show and of cos is our hobbies to watch TVB series.

We ordered fried oyster and chicken wings to share and as usual I have the Chai chee Porriage and Dearie choose BAK CHO MEE.  I feel great cos is been quite awhile we dine out without TT kekeke ... but we will always choose place which is near my in laws place so that we could pick her up easily.

I think soon we will be tired of the place le ....... trying to find somemore nice food there ..... any good recommendation so that we could go before picking up TT?

Wednesday - 8 Oct 08

Not much appetite so i told dearie to buy his own dinner and I shall have some bread will do.  Guess what he buy..... he bought Mandarin Hotel chicken rice from Bedok hawker loh! 

I told him to buy for me one of these days to eat on Sunday when we saw the newly open stall he told me NO!  And today he bought for himself ....... .

So angry loh ... and according to him it taste normal hahah nothing to rave about .... hhahaha I shall try it one of these days hmmm different people have different taste bud.  I am quite sleepy and tired today So I told him i wanna sleep early .... in the end I still sleep this late ..... I only went to bed at 12am wonder is it good to have PC being done up ..... as for TT she is in her lala land at 9.00pm!

My boss let us go off early at 5pm .... so I called up dearie that I will go pick up TT since I am off early so he could make his way back home early too. 

Went over to Blk 416 to get this famous Boon Keng Fish Soup for dinner before heading to my in law's shop.  I forgot to tell the Auntie not to add bitter gourd cos I hate that arghhh silly me.  By the time I eat the food the soup not nice le .... *sigh* abit regretted ..... but their standard dropped too not so nice as before.

And I waited for about 20mins for the fish soup ....... not worth!  But i will try again next time give them one more chance ... if you happen to be there do try and let me know about your comment

Monday - 6 Oct 08

I have ordered this float for TT at the bulk purchase from SGmotherhood forum haha wonder will TT will like it I am so excited and can't wait to bring her for a swim.

Is a busy Monday cos after grading I will have lotsa generating results to be done.  Time passes very fast when you are busy which I like!  Dearie and I are headache cos we do not know what to have for dinner, he told me to order Mcdonald for dinner.

Sz mei sms me and told me Ms Toh is going over to her place and wanted to see TT cos is been along time since she last see TT and she misses her!  We miss you too Ms Toh but the call is late cos my parents coming over to pass me something and they miss TT  too ..... 2 weeks they never see this grand-daughter of theirs.  When TT & dearie came back home I went to make the order but they say due to over whelming respond they are unable to take our orders!

Dearie asked me to order KFC as well .... so i used the flyers and choose what I am going to order.  Seriously I feel that KFC service sucks..... over the phone I ordered BUDDY meal and when I received the food is PARTY meal ..... there are 8pcs of chicken!  OMG!  I am so hungry and I just accept without checking the items stupid me *sigh*.  I eat 2 small wings and 1 breast meat and I am so full .... my poor hubby will have to finish the rest!  hehehe tell me how you won't gain weight?

Sunday - 5 Oct 2008

Sunday morning we woke up really early is just like normal days when we are going to work.  Same goes to TT cos we are attending Mother & Baby magazine's event - Baby's Day Out held in HortPark - the gardening park(wheelchair friendly).  We took a cab there and there is a long car Q, Q-ing to get into the carpark.  We alight outside and took a short walk into the park if not we will have to wait for the Q to clear.


Is another chaotic Sunday morning again there are 3 Qs for the goodie bags and inside the multi-purpose hall they have baby crawling contest, again TT is late for the registration so we didn't let her try that!  We went over to Q for free photoshooting by Huggies is also long long Q everywhere seems so luanz!  After taking the pics we decided to walk up and see whether there is food for us to eat as we did not have our breakfast and both of us are hungry. 

There is one F&B outlet but is way too early for business lucky there are 3 vending machine to the rescue Hahaha.  Happily we bought our ruffles to eat as for drinks they have varieties too ..... thinking milo could make us full we happily purchase it and to our suprise the CAN of milo is HOT! *faintz* is so hot that I could hardly hold the can.  Thinking I have press the wrong button I bought another milo is also HOT one! *faintz* arghhhh we kept the milo in the bag and bought 2 mug in the end the place is very nice is a good place for bridal photo taking!




We stopped by the HortMart is a one-stop gardening retail centre it open daily from 9am to 6pm.  Saw a few pots of Orchid very nice .... but it seems easy to take care but I think when it comes to me - A person with no green fingers at all will died faster gave up buying it in the end!

Happy TT refused to sleep cos there is so many people / babies around poor TT trying to make herself awake till she get her milk she cannot tahan and fell asleep .... she really work like what the romper she is wear in that day say "Will work for milk" kekeke isn't she lovely?

天不做美 it started to rain heavily and everyone rushed in for shelter lucky we never walk deep in to explore the park.  We managed to find a seat in the multi-purpose hall and of cos we enjoyed some talks as well.  Waited for the lucky draw cos we cant go home with such heavy rain as well.  I do enjoyed the family outing rather then the event that is going on next time must come to explore the place again!


Went over to my in laws place and off we go to Blk 418 Bedok North Ave 2 for 天外天鱼头炉 my FIL loves to eat 鱼头炉.  We are disappointed cos they have bad service and food not nice too.  We all prefer to have the one located at Tampines but cos is a bit late 6+pm already if we go over there we will have to sit inside the hawker with the small table. 

My MIL also dun like their bad service cos 1st impression count ..... 1st impression they give us no good already we saw a few big tables around and that Auntie told us we did not make reservation have to wait.  We have to like all stand down there till she decide where to "place" us...... and I dun really enjoy my food cos I need to eat very fast cos I have to feed TT and by the time TT is full then I can eat my food.
